Integrity is so important, if someone else is controlling even ONE small aspect of your life, like who you talk to, speak about, who you can visit or when.

YOU HAVE LOST YOUR INTEGRITY.

I realised there was something seriously wrong with my family decades before actually being given professional advice about it, she told me that my subconscious was warning / protecting me from the toxicity for all that time.

I became the outsider but hadn't realised, I left well before I understood that.

Pretending to care, the Christmas cards, the birthday wishes, all just a sham to hide your secret truth. I detested all that stuff but didn't realise exactly why until now. It wasn't authentic.

Of course, like everyone, I love all the sincere cards and messages and also being a single stereotypical man I'm rubbish at that stuff. It doesn't mean I don't care for my real friends and family.

Just be real and authentic, integrity is earned and is priceless.
