Marathon Walk - I love walking, without any real intention I walked a marathon on Friday 26th July 2024. It was a glorious day and I was spending a few days in my motorhome on Hayling Island seafront and beach. As is usual I get up at 5am, have a good swim in the sea and then make my breakfast. The sunrise was amazing, so I set off for a walk towards the Sandy Point end of the island, about 8 miles there and back. Long story short I ended up walking all day and did 62k steps, about 29.5 miles, I got home just after 10pm, I had a pub lunch and dinner, it was a very slow and restful walk.
