After my devastating relationship breakdown I decided to buy a motorhome so that I could spend time with my beloved little dog and travel all over the UK from beaches to mountains and mountains back to beaches. All I needed to continue to work was a laptop and an internet connection. I had the time of my life, my dog did too I think. I covered over 6000 miles and criss crossed the UK from Lands end to the Scottish highlands and everywhere in between. It was a healing experience.

I lived on the road the entire time, never stayed overnight in a campsite once, it was a real education in life and taught me a lot about myself.

Travelling around Britain while living on the road is a fantastic way to get to know the UK. Pick a new place on the map, arrive in the daytime to find a safe quiet place to park for the night then spend the rest of the day exploring or relaxing. Go back to your chosen parking spot for the night after dark, get a fab nights sleep, leave early. Do it all again the next day. Absolute freedom.
